Yesterday, instead of being "the" evangelism guy, I should have been "one of the" evangelism guys. The evangelism team did an awesome job - and I hope the people we reached out to will be convicted enough to take a second step forward!
Second up is the question of 'free will'.
The issue of free will and predestination go hand in hand. If God truly is all-knowing, all-powerful and everywhere at the same time, then isn't it true that we do not actually have free will? Meaning that as God already knows what we will do, then actually doing it has no real purpose.
Free will is always a tricky one to tackle. But the answer is simple! If God created us in His image (Genesis 1:27), and if God has a will, then we, by association, have a will as well. Simple. God, knowing so well that Adam and Eve would take the fruit of knowledge, still allowed them to continue. As humans, we are all given the power to choose whether to follow God or not.
Most importantly, for Christians, we are given the ability to choose. Regardless of whether God is pleased with our choices, He will love us forever. As Christians, it is then our perogative to go out and do God's will, because we are His children.
Anyhow, that's it. If I got anything wrong, drop me a comment or email :).
I can't believe that I've finally got myself some blisters from bass guitar playing. I just hope it goes down before RICE E2, or else playing bass will be a little bit tricky!
