This year I've been praying and it never seems like I get what I pray for. My prayers are answered, but it seems like God answers them in the way He sees fit. And one thing I've definitely learned this year is that God is sovereign (it's a message that keeps being talked about in my life, again and again and again.)
Again, God's shown me that He is in control and that he makes arrangements just so that He can remind me that He's taking care of me. (For example, putting christians around in day-to-day activities, to talk to me about things that I needed reminding).
Today was the most awesome experience - I got the chance to make a recording for an advert, and have my face pasted. Playing in front of a green screen... it was awesome fun and an awesome experience. It just turned out that my go-to guy for anything I needed figured out that I was a christian... well, God's timing is perfect.
I guess I can take something from that - my illness is really irritating me, but again it's God's timing. I'm thankful that there is still so much to learn from this illness, even though it's quite painful and depressing... ahh well, growing up, here I come.
